Upcoming Shows

Hello! I know it’s been a while since I’ve last updated. I’ve recently starting gaining better knowledge on computers, and repair them for extra income now. I’ve come to love putting together new specifications for computers: it’s fun making a computer that can do some pretty amazing things.

I’ve got some shows that I’ll be in soon. The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is having its annual art sale in November, and I’m going to be selling about 25 pieces in it. Then come December 12th, the Annual Women’s Art Festival is going to be held that the midtown YWCA, I’ll be in a booth with a fellow friend and artist selling my work. If any of you are going to be in town, you should definitely drop by and see all of the great work! There will be food, drink, crafts, music, and art for purchasing and enjoying. Here’s the website for anyone that’s interested: http://www.womensartfestival.com/

Please leave a comment if you’d like some more information, or just to leave some feedback! Please enjoy the art I’ve posted for you!

Current Projects

Minneapolis Center for Book Arts PosterI’ve recently been enjoying the freedom of working on my own projects. I have a painting and a couple of watercolors that I feel fairly satisfied with at the moment. I’ve posted them here for your viewing enjoyment!

The first painting is simply splashes of color. I didn’t want to focus on anything representational at the moment, and just wanted to put paint on a canvas. It looks pretty great on the wall. There are two versions of it here, simply because it is so easy to change color hues on the computer. I couldn’t decide which one I liked more.

The second image is a map for the fictional world ‘Sekesha’ I’ve been working on for a few years now. Nearly all of the places on the map have been mentioned at one time or another in the stories written taking place in that world.

And finally, the third image is a poster I did for for Minneapolis Center for Book Arts. It was an independent project I did outside of an official capacity, but I love the Book Arts Center, and wanted to create something that showed how fun the place is. I hope to donate it to them soon.

Thanks for looking, and feel free to leave a comment!

Image Updates

I now have the ability to update my website even faster. There is now a file on my desktop that is directly linked to my server. All I have to do is save an image file to the folder, and the site is automatically updated. New stuff will be appearing even faster than before!

All of the images that had been pixilated before are now fixed. This is a great asset to my website, and will help with the overall maintenance of the site.

Also, here’s a fresh bit of art for you to see. Enjoy! Day Break in the City

Feature Film ‘Nobody’

I’ve finally graduated from college! As you can imagine, I’m very excited. The whole event went wonderfully, and I noticed quite a few people take my business cards from my senior show. (I had to replace them three times!)

As far as my career goals are coming along, I’d say it’s rather eclectic and exciting. Currently, the writer for the movie ‘40 Days and 40 Nights’ Rob Perez is shooting his next movie ‘Nobody’ at my old College. I’ve just been hired on as an intern in the Production Office. I can hardly wait to start my first day.

I’m also still working at the Ordway Center for Performing Arts. I’m guaranteed to be very busy for the next few weeks.

I’ll leave you now with a fresh bit of art that I’ve made. Enjoy!Oil painting on canvas
