I’ve got some shows that I’ll be in soon. The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is having its annual art sale in November, and I’m going to be selling about 25 pieces in it. Then come December 12th, the Annual Women’s Art Festival is going to be held that the midtown YWCA, I’ll be in a booth with a fellow friend and artist selling my work. If any of you are going to be in town, you should definitely drop by and see all of the great work! There will be food, drink, crafts, music, and art for purchasing and enjoying. The first painting is simply splashes of color. I didn’t want to focus on anything representational at the moment, and just wanted to put paint on a canvas. It looks pretty great on the wall. There are two versions of it here, simply because it is so easy to change color hues on the computer. I couldn’t decide which one I liked more.

The second image is a map for the fictional world ‘Sekesha’ I’ve been working on for a few years now. Nearly all of the places on the map have been mentioned at one time or another in the stories written taking place in that world.

And finally, the third image is a poster I did for for Minneapolis Center for Book Arts. It was an independent project I did outside of an official capacity, but I love the Book Arts Center, and wanted to create something that showed how fun the place is. I hope to donate it to them soon.

As far as my career goals are coming along, I’d say it’s rather eclectic and exciting. Currently, the writer for the movie ‘40 Days and 40 Nights’ Rob Perez is shooting his next movie ‘Nobody’ at my old College. I’ve just been hired on as an intern in the Production Office. I can hardly wait to start my first day.

I’m also still working at the Ordway Center for Performing Arts. I’m guaranteed to be very busy for the next few weeks.

I am currently just about to graduate from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, with my major in Illustration. I am immediately available for hire, and am currently looking for more creative projects.
